Solar Power Commercial Contractors

Everon Electrical Contractors takes a great deal of pride in offering our commercial, industrial and residential community Renewable Energy options. We provide the Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Stroudsburg and greater PA area with the following: Solar Energy and Solar Panels, Wind Turbines and Windmills, Hydro Electric, Biomass and even Geothermal alternative energy solutions.

Renewable energy harnesses all of the elements that provide life. We will help you generate power directly from the sun, air, and even the water. You or your company may no longer need to depend on the public power grid and the high costs associated with using it.

As your are well aware, the deregulation of energy allows anyone in the state of PA to choose where the production of the electricity originates. Pennsylvania Power and Light (PP&L) or your utility company, will still provide the transport of the energy itself, but the company or in this case you, will generate the power. Learn how our commercial electrical contractors, from Everon, can help you or your company save money while conserving natural resources:

Photovoltaics and Solar Energy

Eastern Pennsylvania and surrounding states receive on average around 4-5 kilowatt hours of sun per day. As a practical benchmark: Germany receives the same or in some cases less kilowatt hours of sun exposure, but currently the country produces 47% of the world’s solar-generated power. Another words, we have plenty of sun!

How Does Solar Panels Work

As the panels become exposed to sunlight the solar cells, housed within the panels, convert the sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity. An inverter converts the direct current power to alternating current (AC), which is used to power the facility or residence. Multiple solar panels combined become, what is know as a solar array, that believe it or not; doesn’t require batteries. This array ties directly into your existing power grid and if unused will actually begin to generate you money through your utility company.

Wind Turbines and Windmills

Everon Electrical, a commercial alternative energy contracting company, installs and setups a wide variety of wind turbines and windmills. These windmills come in nearly all shapes and sizes. It all depends on how much power you need to generate, to determine the best solution for you or your business. When Pennsylvania residents think of windmills they visualize the large turbines on the turnpike. Not every windmill is that large and for that matter expensive.

Windmills have advanced a great deal over the years. Although you can still purchase bi-directional windmills a lot of clients are choosing Vertical-Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT). These windmills can collect wind in any direction. They also require a lot less room and can be installed on rooftops or even on the ground. Its up to you and the amount of space that you have available at your disposal to choose the best solution.
